As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the operation and performance of a designated section of the kitchen. You will ensure that all dishes prepared in your area are produced efficiently, consistently, and in line with the required quality and presentation standards.
Your responsibilities may include:
- supervising and coordinating the daily work of your assigned kitchen section
- preparing ingredients and carrying out cooking tasks according to established recipes and procedures
- ensuring that all dishes leaving your station meet the expected standards in taste, presentation, portioning, and quality
- maintaining cleanliness, organization, and full compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations
- working closely with other members of the kitchen team to support smooth and efficient service
- communicating effectively with colleagues to maintain a professional and productive working environment
- supporting the training and development of junior kitchen staff where required
- contributing ideas for menu updates, new dishes, and improvements to existing items in cooperation with senior kitchen leadership
- assisting with stock control, monitoring inventory levels, and helping to organize orders for your section
- showing flexibility in handling different kitchen tasks or supporting other stations when needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen position
- culinary training, professional certification, or relevant practical experience
- good knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, food safety, and hygiene standards
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- strong teamwork and communication skills
