As a Welder / Metal Worker, you will be responsible for working with metal materials to fabricate, assemble, repair, or modify components and structures used in construction, production, or technical operations. Your work must meet technical requirements, quality expectations, and all applicable workplace safety standards.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • welding, cutting, grinding, shaping, or assembling metal parts and structures according to drawings, instructions, or project requirements
  • preparing metal surfaces and materials before welding or fitting work begins
  • reading and following technical plans, measurements, and work specifications where required
  • using welding equipment, hand tools, and metalworking machinery safely and correctly
  • checking finished work for accuracy, strength, alignment, and quality
  • assisting with installation, repair, or maintenance of metal components on site or in workshop environments
  • handling metal materials, parts, and equipment in a careful and organized manner
  • maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area and ensuring tools are stored properly

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • previous experience as a Welder, Metal Worker, or in a similar metal fabrication role
  • practical knowledge of welding methods, metal handling, and fabrication processes
  • ability to work from instructions, measurements, or technical documentation
  • good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and workmanship
  • understanding of workplace safety, protective equipment, and proper tool handling
  • physical stamina and willingness to work in workshop, industrial, or construction environments
  • reliability, discipline, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • relevant technical training, certification, or hands-on experience is an advantage
