As a Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair work on plumbing systems in accordance with technical requirements, safety regulations, and project specifications. Your work will help ensure that water supply, drainage, and related systems function safely, efficiently, and reliably in the relevant environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply, drainage, waste, and pipe systems
- fitting and connecting sinks, toilets, showers, taps, valves, and other plumbing fixtures
- inspecting plumbing systems and identifying leaks, blockages, wear, or technical faults
- carrying out repairs, replacements, and adjustments to restore proper function
- reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and work instructions where required
- using plumbing tools, measuring devices, and installation materials safely and correctly
- ensuring compliance with safety standards, building requirements, and plumbing regulations
- testing systems after installation or repair to confirm proper operation and detect any issues
- maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area on site or in the building environment
- coordinating with supervisors, site teams, and other trades to support efficient project execution
- documenting work completed, materials used, or faults identified where required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- previous experience as a Plumber or in a similar plumbing or pipe installation role
- practical knowledge of plumbing systems, fittings, tools, and installation methods
- ability to work from technical drawings, measurements, and work instructions
- good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship
- physical stamina and willingness to work on active sites or in technical service environments
- reliability, discipline, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- relevant trade training, certification, or licensing is an advantage or may be required depending on the position
