As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and project requirements. Your work will help ensure that electrical systems function reliably, efficiently, and safely in the relevant work environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • installing electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, outlets, switches, and related systems in accordance with technical plans and regulations
  • inspecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • identifying faults, diagnosing electrical issues, and carrying out repairs where required
  • reading and interpreting electrical drawings, technical plans, and work instructions
  • using electrical tools, measuring devices, and installation equipment safely and correctly
  • ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety procedures, and workplace regulations
  • supporting commissioning, upgrades, or modification of electrical systems as required by the project or facility
  • maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working area
  • coordinating with supervisors, site teams, and other trades to ensure smooth execution of work
  • documenting completed tasks, issues identified, or maintenance activities where required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • previous experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical installation or maintenance role
  • strong understanding of electrical systems, components, tools, and safety standards
  • ability to work from technical drawings, circuit layouts, and project instructions
  • good problem-solving skills and ability to identify technical faults efficiently
  • high level of attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
  • physical stamina and willingness to work on active sites, in buildings, or in technical environments
  • reliability, discipline, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • relevant trade qualification, certification, or licensing is an advantage or may be required depending on the position
