As a Chambermaid, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the required hotel standards. Your work plays a key role in the overall guest experience by ensuring that rooms are clean, tidy, well stocked, and ready for arrival or continued stay.
Your responsibilities may include:
- cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and other assigned areas in accordance with hotel standards
- making beds, changing linens, and ensuring that rooms are presented neatly and professionally
- dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and maintaining overall room cleanliness
- replenishing towels, toiletries, minibar items, and other guest amenities as required
- reporting maintenance issues, damages, or lost property in line with hotel procedures
- ensuring that all cleaning tasks are carried out efficiently and with attention to detail
- following hygiene, safety, and housekeeping procedures at all times
- using cleaning materials and equipment properly and responsibly
- supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements:
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage, but not always essential
- good attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and order
- ability to work efficiently and independently within a structured routine
- physical stamina and willingness to perform active daily tasks
- reliability, discretion, and a professional attitude
- ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive hotel environment
