As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out woodworking and construction-related tasks as part of building, installation, or repair projects. You will work with wood and other materials to create, fit, or restore structural and functional elements while ensuring quality, precision, and compliance with safety requirements.
Your responsibilities may include:
- constructing, assembling, installing, or repairing wooden structures, fittings, frameworks, or interior elements
- measuring, cutting, shaping, and preparing materials according to drawings, instructions, or project specifications
- reading and interpreting technical plans, blueprints, and basic construction documentation where required
- using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and correctly
- checking finished work for accuracy, stability, alignment, and quality
- assisting with installation work on construction sites, renovation projects, or interior build-outs
- handling materials and equipment carefully and maintaining an organized work area
- supporting general site preparation, fitting, adjustment, or finishing work where needed
- following all safety procedures, protective equipment requirements, and technical standards
- working independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to the required standard
Qualifications and Requirements:
- previous experience as a Carpenter or in a similar woodworking or construction-related role
- practical knowledge of woodworking, material handling, and installation techniques
- ability to work from technical drawings, instructions, and measurements
- good attention to detail and commitment to precise workmanship
- understanding of workplace safety and proper use of tools and equipment
- physical stamina and willingness to work in construction, workshop, or installation environments
- reliability, discipline, and ability to work productively as part of a team
- relevant trade training, certification, or hands-on experience is an advantage
